Food Review: Culina Bistro

Culina Bistro is gourmet boutique and a restaurant, supplying many of the steak restaurants in Singapore so freshness is guaranteed here. Prices are reasonable and service is efficient. IMG_3012 After ordering, we were served a complimentary bread basket. The bread rolls came warm and toasted and fluffy inside. My mum loved them. They were to be dipped olive oil with sharp balsamic or simply spread with butter. IMG_3013 The highlight of the meal was the beef. We picked a 1.2kg 1824 Premium Beef OP Ribs from Queensland ($72.70) with a preparation fee of $25. OP Ribs are also known as bone-in ribeye steak or côte de bœuf. The beauty of this cut is that it is juicy, flavourful and has great marbling. We ordered it medium-rare with black pepper and red wine sauce. The beef was grilled extremely well with a charred crust and juicy interior. We also ordered Potato Purée ($8) and it was creamy, smooth and buttery. All in all, Culina Bistro serves up hearty dishes at affordable prices. I would definitely come back again.
